Some of you had encountered problems where your order was defaulting to USPS Express Mail even if you had selected First Class or Priority. After investigating, it turned out that USPS had changed some of the variables used in their shipping system, and this kept our software from effectively talking to theirs when declaring shipping options. (Apparently, no one using our software knew about the change in advance, so it was kind of a surprise to everyone.)

But fear not: I found a fix for the shipping code and tested it out this morning. Everything is working fine, so all the normal shipping options are available again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

You got your fill of turkey. You staggered through the malls on Black Friday. You finally dragged yourself home, through traffic on the freeways, through lines in the airport.

A few new items that might be of interest:

• We now have some Star Wars Miniatures maps available for sale. Currently, we have three double-sided maps (two from Attack on Endor, one from Starship Battles), enough to give you a good backup in case your players wander into an area you haven’t yet drawn on the graph paper!
• We also have gift certificates, a great way to show your appreciation for the guy who always brings the miniatures, books, and possibly even the refreshments and a place to play. (This is especially important if you’ve never brought more than a bag of Cheetos to the game — yes, we’ve all been guilty of mooching at least once.) Remember: Diamonds are forever, but miniatures are more fun to kill.
