Wrapping up Saga Edition
The Star Wars Roleplaying Game Saga Edition is in its final stages, and it’s really looking good: Rodney, Owen, and I are doing new stat blocks now that the rules themselves have gone through a last round of tweaks, and I’m also putting the finishing touches on the Gamemastering, creatures, vehicles, and travel rules as we speak.
After that, I give the text one more editing pass to make sure everything is just right (and that everything fits the page count!), and then it’s off to the higher-ups at Wizards of the Coast for final approval, typesetting, and so forth.
That being the case, I’m already making plans for after my work is finished in the next couple of weeks.
Keep an eye out for new encounter packs and quick-start packs (including combat airspeeder detachments, swoop gangs, droids, and plenty of starfighter squadrons and capital ship fleets from the upcoming Starship Battles set) as well as some improvements to our existing items made possible by diversifying our miniatures stock.
In addition, both the Star Wars RPG and Star Wars Miniatures FAQs are due for an update, so those will be at the top of the list — and it’s all coming very soon!
Open for business
After listening to fellow gamers complain about the lack of non-random miniatures packs over the last two years, I finally decided to do something about it.
For some time, I’d been making packs out of my spare minis for friends, and after putting our heads together we decided that there are plenty of others out there who’d like to have these packs for their own games.
In my spare time — what little I’ve had during the editing and development of the new Star Wars Roleplaying Game Saga Edition coming out in March — I put this site together, and I’ve finally managed to get it finished.
Take a look around, see what we have to offer, and feel free to contact us if you have ideas or suggestions.
