Our final clearance sale ended last night, so we’re closing things down for the holidays. All orders received over the weekend will ship later today. Thanks for shopping with us!
Final Clearance: Star Wars Minis 30% to 75% Off, Ends Sunday Night
On the night of Sunday, December 19th at midnight (EST), we will stop selling miniatures forever. From then on, GMSarli Games will focus exclusively on our own products, and any remaining miniatures in our inventory will be liquidated with other retailers.
I want to give all of you who have purchased from us over the years a chance to get miniatures at those liquidation prices. When I have a choice between selling to another retailer or to actual players at the same price, I’ll go with the players every time.
Every order placed by Sunday night at midnight (EST) will ship by Monday, giving sufficient time for domestic delivery before Christmas. (To avoid the delays that occurred when we started our holiday sale, I’ve completely cleared my schedule for this entire weekend — and called in some backup — so that I can get packages in the mail promptly.)
Thanks for shopping with us, and I wish you all a safe and joyous holiday season.
UPDATE: Since we’re down to our last miniatures, I’ve implemented three changes to make it easier to find what you’re looking for. First, all out-of-stock items are now hidden; that way, you won’t have to scroll past them to find the miniatures that are still in stock.
Second, I’ve added a DOLLAR BIN category, which lists all miniatures with a sale price of $1 or less. If you’re just looking for some assorted low-cost miniatures to fill out your collection, this is a great place to start.
Third, I’ve added categories that list all miniatures for a given faction, regardless of which set they come from: Fringe, Imperial, Mandalorian, New Republic, Old Republic, Rebel, Republic, Separatist, Sith, Yuuzhan Vong. If you want to fill out your collection for a particular faction that shows up often in your games, this saves you the trouble of going through each individual miniatures set to find them.
Last Call for e20 System Patrons
You’ve all had a chance to look at e20 Lite version 0.5, so you should have a pretty good idea where the e20 System is headed. If you’re interested in the project, now is your last chance to become a patron: After December 25th, 2010, the e20 System Project will be accepting no new patrons or upgrades for existing patrons. We’re in the home stretch, so it’s time to lock in our team’s roster.
Being a patron is the only way to participate in playtesting, contribute to its design and development, and get the exclusive hardcover edition of the e20 System Core Rulebook. Patronage includes free domestic and international shipping, and anyone who contributes design work earns an “Additional Design” credit as well as standard freelancer payment.
If this sounds like it’s something you’d like to be a part of, become a patron (or give it as a gift for a friend) today!
All Current Orders Have Shipped
For the first time since the holiday sale began, I have zero pending orders in the queue. Huzzah!
Grateful thanks goes out to everyone for their incredible patience. Since the store’s order processing is a one-nerd operation, it can get a little hectic when I get a sudden influx of business. I’ve set aside more time for the remainder of the holiday season to make sure I’m able to process any new orders promptly, so I should be able to avoid the delays that came up the first time around.
Thanks again for helping our miniatures sales to go out with a bang!
Buried under an avalanche of miniatures
Well, not literally. But close.
The response to the big holiday sale has been absolutely overwhelming — and I mean that in both the good and bad senses of the word. It’s great to get so many orders and be able to send legions of Stormtroopers off to their happy new homes, where they will shortly be mowed over by maniacs wielding lightsabers and heavy repeating blasters.
The not-so-great part is actually processing so many orders in such a short time.
“How many orders can it possibly be?” you might ask yourself.
Well, I asked myself that, too, so I looked it up. In terms of value, I’ve sold more miniatures since this sale started than I have since the beginning of April. (And, yes, that includes everything sold at Gen Con back in August.) We’re talking about eight months’ worth of business in the span of about 10 days.
So … yeah. I’ve been a bit swamped.
Don’t get me wrong; I’m always happy to receive money, which I can then exchange for goods and services. I just hate it when I’m so far behind and customers haven’t received their orders yet. If you’re one of those customers, I sincerely apologize for the delay; please know that I’m slogging through the pile of orders just as quickly as my little hands can manage.
The good news is that I’m finally sending orders out faster than they’re coming in, so I should be caught up very soon. I expect to be able to get all outstanding orders (as of this writing) in the mail no later than mid-week. If you haven’t received yours yet, keep an eye out for it over the next few days.
If, on the other hand, you have your eye on a particular miniature and you haven’t placed an order yet, be aware that the clock is ticking incredibly fast. Don’t wait too long or there won’t be anything left on the shelves but cobwebs and tumbleweeds.
Nerdfully yours,
Gary M. Sarli
